Best Essay Prize: $10,000
Runner-up Prize: $5,000

Winning essays will be published in special issues of Creative Nonfiction and Issues in Science and Technology, alongside those of established writers.

Other entries will be considered for publication in either magazine, and if selected, will receive honorable mention and a $500 prize.
