David Waters

David Waters is Harvard Divinity School’s Swartz Scholar in Religion, Literature, and Culture. He is combining his academic interests with an exploration of scholarship and teaching as ministry and spiritual practice in the Master of Divinity program. A native of Manhattan with an abiding love for Seattle, David left a richly rewarding Navy career in 2013 to complete his BA in English from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and embark on new adventures in academe.
